INVEST BOTH YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME WISELY
There is a good reason membership in Sportsman's Club of America, inc is referred to as an INVESTMENT. When your decision to purchase an item or service is based on COST, it is partially due to the fact that in most cases once you have spent money, it's gone. You cannot spend the same money twice, so you must choose carefully where your money goes. Most items or services provide only temporary gratification and diminish in value over time.
However, when you INVEST your money you are putting it toward something that is meant to give you a return. In other words, a good investment can continue to return more and more VALUE as time goes on.
Investments can create new opportunities and provide additional options for you down the road in life. However, most things we spend our money on have the opposite effect, they make it so that we have fewer opportunities and less options available in our future.
Consider some of the things we spend money on,
and what we get as a return:

There are plenty more examples of where our discretionary money goes,
and what we might expect in return. But I think you get my point.
We choose what we spend our hard earned money on. And yet, sometimes we catch ourselves thinking "Where does it all go?". Even the basic necessities in life such as food, shelter and clothing offer us plenty of choices.
For example:
-
We decide to rent or to buy, and in what neighborhood. Of course, how much money we are willing and/or able to spend will help influence the decision .
-
We decide to eat out or to prepare a meal at home.
-
We even choose between name-brand or generic.
-
Everything is a choice.
How often do you ask yourself the following questions?
"What else could I be doing with my MONEY?"
or another great one to consider,
"What else could I being doing with my TIME?"
The possible answers are endless. Are you making the right choice?
You can either SPEND MONEY or INVEST it!
Likewise,
you can SPEND TIME or INVEST it!
|
Time is different than money;
-
Time is a perishable commodity.
-
Once it's gone it's gone.
-
We can't save it up to use later.
-
It can never be replaced.
-
You can't make more of it.
-
We have to use it as it is given to us.
|
Our only real choice is;
Do we SPEND IT...
or INVEST IT?
|
|

|
We all have the same choice every single day on what and how we will spend our time. Nobody has any more or less than somebody else.
WE ALL HAVE EXACTLY
24 HOURS IN A DAY.
Why is it then, that some people seem to live a more fruitful and fulfilling life than others? After all, we are all given the same amount of hours within a day?
Could it be because some people make different CHOICES
on how to spend their time?
